Books on Bombs

These primary school students in Laos are reading a picture book detailing the dangers of unexploded bombs. Thousands of unexploded bombs from the Vietnam War still exist in the area, and it is thought that almost half of those injured by these bombs are children.

Support curriculum development that will help keep these children safe by donating to World Education.

Children roll a detonated bomb in Laos.

Between 1973 and 2007, at least 13,000 people were maimed or killed by landmines or unexploded ordinance (UXO) in Laos. We’re on the ground providing livelihoods for victims, and in schools teaching kids how to stay safe.

Support those who are still victims of the Vietnam War by donating to World Education.
